2008, this is way too fucking far. I want a new Oasis album, like, now. _________________

Oasis take far too long between albums.
in my view they should be releasing them every 1-2 years, especially as Noel is no longer the only songwriter.
would be good if they released a double album too _________________

I think Arctic Monkeys are a example to follow for every band in the world.
- 2005, toured intensively to distrubute demos and to try to land a record deal
- 2006, release of brilliant debut album, non-stop touring all year long.
- 2006, release of a non album single only a few months after the album. Extensive touring.
- 2007, not even a year after their debut's release, sophomore album is released, and again much much much touring. And best of all, 2nd album is as good as debut.
And all throughout 2006 and 2007, countless covers and great non album tracks are made available.
On Sept. 9th, they will be playing my hometown, Montreal, for the 4th time. In not even two years. even most canadian bands don't do that much, for a British band it's unbelievable. _________________

And after 3-4 years they are tired & they feel drained...
