The majority of Oasis fans like the stone roses, so let me ask the question...
stone roses 'stone roses' or 'second coming'?
which is your fav and why

I believe you if you say it's good, but giving any esteem to anything NME writes is foolish. Their reviews are all complete bullshit, solely written to generate hype. To put the Beatles at #8 is a sin, as is not to include any other classic British bands. Pulp shouldn't be on there, nor should the Libertines, nor should the Arctic Monkeys. The Queen is Dead is one of the most overrated albums of all time, Modern Life isn't even close to being Blur's best album, and London Calling is FAR better than Never Mind the Bollocks.
They're a fine news source, but their reviews are among the worst in the world. _________________ |

The Stone Roses are one of the best bands in the world, honestly. Their self-titled achieved pop perfection via an amazing mix of guitar pop, dance, funk, indie rock and a million of other sounds.
And their second album, Second Coming, is quite possibly the best guitar album of all time. At least it is for me. The tracks Love Spreads and Breaking Into Heaven are my two favorite guitar songs ever. _________________

'begging you' and 'driving south' do it for me on 'second coming' album. both FULL ON guitar fests.
'second coming' is John Squire on fucking steroids
