I'm thinking exactly the same thing. Except for 1 or 2 very okay tracks, Down In Albion was a crushing disappointement to me, and I decided I'd go 100 % for Dirty Pretty Things.
But then they released The Blinding EP, which was really great (I still think that Love You But You're Green's studio version is terribly boring though compared to the acoustic one).
And now the new album is coming out in a week or two in America and from the songs I've heard it's a lot lot more promising. Might go for fifty-fifty now with the two bands.
