Hehe, for me it's (Whats the story?) morning glory, but.... Tony plays drum on Cast No Shadow, so you're 50% right for me...

Yep, I think we are unfair for Zak, he's a nice guy and a excellent drummer. I remember a Noel's interview in a French musical show, Taratata. The journalist asked him "Why did you choose Zak Starkey as a drummer ?" and Noel replied "Well, his dad was busy." CGFD.

Tie between Zak and Alan. Zak has the rockers done, RNR Star is a fuckin' riot at the end! Alan had the ballads down though, Zak still hasn't gotten DLBIA completely down.

He played on Some Might Say, not Cast No Shadow.

Actually, now I'm really tempted to say Steve White now.

Hehe, Steve 'Whitey' White... Must be the reason why you didn't vote for none of the Oasis drummers !!! Me, I maintain that Alan White was the best. Well, 'best' is not exactly the right word, coz technically, Zak is as good (even better sometimes) as him. But, that must be the nostalgia of the WTSMG, BHN, SOTSOG and HC time, probably.

Same as shootyoudown.
As a drummer, I can tell that Starkey is better technically. But Alan just had that thing. It's nothing impressive, but his style of drumming fits so well with Oasis. And he drummed on most of their best songs.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Alan and Steve were the drummers for two of the best bands during the Brit-Pop era! Steve for Paul Weller and Alan for Oasis!
