I love the rythmn section by Guigsy & Bonehead. The Music means much to me and it makes me happy.
I also like the new 'dimension'which was added by Gem and Andy, but I still prefer my Guigsy & Bonehead section!
{It was a wonderful time when Guigsy & Bonehead were in Oasis. I'm too young to remember the times but the music says me that I just have to love it.}

Gem and Andy, easily. Better and cooler musicians and they can write a fuckin' good tune.

Without an hesitation : Gem and Andy !!! They come from cool bands, Heavy Stereo and Ride, and they're cool as fuck. Technically they kick ass. And I'll add (but it's totally personal and stupid) that, in a physical point of view, they fit better in Oasis then Bonehead, or Guigsy or McCarroll. And fuck, I just didn't like Bonehead. I said it.

i always thought Guigsy didnt look right in the band. he looked wrong and didnt have the rock n roll attitude.
when i found out andy bell and gem were replacing them, i was buzzing. i love ride, hurricane #1 and heavy stereo so to me this just made the best band in the world even better.
heathen chemistry and DBTT are two great albums and especially on DBTT do we see gem and andy shining through.
fuck me, keep the dream alive and turn up the sun are fucking great tunes and both by bell

Absolutely. Guigsy is the guy who can wear velvet trousers, so fuck it, where's the rock n' roll attitude ??
AND I LOVEEEE TURN UP THE SUN TOO !!! My fav tune from DBTT, with Let There Be Love and the Meaning of Soul.

That is just fucking hilarious !! They look better and have hair
My vote definitely goes to Gem and Andy. Better musicians, better songwriters, and they make of Oasis a band instead of Noel, Liam and the three others behind. In terms of both image and music.
And Gem looks cool as fuck.

It doesn't really matter. Their presence in the band is totally inconsequential, aside from the couple of songs Gem and Andy wrote on DBTT. Oasis will always be Oasis as long as the Gallaghers are there.

It's ridiculous to say Gem and Andy don't have some effect on Oasis as a band. I guarantee you DBTT wouldn't be as good without Andy and Gem's tunes.

DBTT is a fantastic album. 'Turn up the sun' and 'keep the dream alive' are two of the best songs and both by Andy Bell. 'Turn up the sun' has the same effect as an album opener as 'rock n roll star' did on DM.

Keep the Dream Alive is fantastic, but Turn Up The Sun was a little too much like Hindu Times for me.

thats no bad thing as i love 'hindu times'
Gem and Bell are contributing to the band both musically and in song writing, whereas Bonehead and Gigsy didn't.
we all know Bonehead and Gigsy will be remembered fondly as they were there from the beginning and its always sad when original members leave, but in this case we have 2 members who have made the band more complete.

Yeah, the double punch of TUTS and Lyla at the live shows were stomping!
